If you want to slow down in your life and live a simple country life, relax in peace and quiet, laze on green grass in the shade of noble oaks and elms, in idyllic surroundings – welcome to our Guest House! If you prefer to spend more time in an active way and are looking for a place to set off for trips to observe wildlife, explore the Białowieża Forest and tour the Podlasie region – you’ve come to the right place! It is only a half hour drive through the Forest to Białowieża.

Surrounding area

Suszczy Borek is a small village in the valley of the Narewka River, located on the mid-forest glade of the Ladzka Forest, on the western side of the Białowieża Primeval Forest.

One of the Green Velo cycling routes leads through the village.

Our neighborhood was not affected by the devastating felling of trees and there has been no ban to enter the forest.

Nearest attractions

Narewka – 6 km (shops, post office). Kayak rental for rafting down the Narewka River.

Siemianówka Reservoir – 8 km: an artificial reservoir on the Narew River, attractive for anglers. Around the reservoir are hiking and cycling paths. A great place to observe water birds during spring and autumn migrations.

Białowieża – 25 km (via the “Narewka” road) or 40 km through Hajnówka: a Bison Show Reserve, a Palace Park with a lookout tower, a Strict Reserve (admission with a licensed guide only), Trails: “Miejsce Mocy” (Place of Power), “Żebra Żubra” (Bison Ribs), Landscapes of the Forest.

Rides in horse-drawn carriages, bike rental (in winter – cross-country skis), restaurants, hotels, spa.

Białowieża National Park – access from the Gruszki Forest District or from Narewka through Janowo – to the “Kosy Most” and “Wilczy Szlak” forest sites, with a bison refuge and a lookout tower.
